Nicolas Castagné is an engineer graduated from the Ecole Centrale de Paris, specializing in Applied Mathematics. In 1996, he joined the ACROE team, first to do his thesis in Computer Music, then as a research engineer responsible for the design and development of all ACROE creation software, sound creation. , visual creation and multisensory creation. He continues his research within the group ACROE-ICA, as a lecturer at the Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble. He obtained his diploma of habilitation to direct research (HDR) and directed and supervised many theses and internships.
